Welcome to Cape Charles Chesapeake Bay Fishing Charters with PoleDancer Sportfishing.

With Cape Charles being right at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, the fishing is spectacular. It is a highway for a number of species that swim their way past the bridge tunnel. Cobia, Bull Drum, Spadefish, Stripers, Red Fish, Flounder, Blues, Spanish, Sheepshead, Ribbon Fish. With the Chesapeake Bay being the largest estuary in the United States, more than 150 rivers and streams flow into the bay's 64,299 square mile drainage basin that covers parts of 6 states. That's a whole lot of species of fish that's funneled right from the mouth of the bay, and they have to pass Cape Charles to reach their destination.

PoleDancer operates two vessels, The (PD) and The "GB" with Captain Cody Seabright at the helm to put you on the many different species of fish that the Chesapeake Bay and surrounding areas has to offer.

For the sightfishing gurus, our Fishing Charters target cobia and bull reds on PoleDancer, our 25' SeaPro with a custom built cobia tower. We also offer Offshore Wreck Fishing for  Sea Bass - Flounder - Triggerfish - Tautog 

For the shallow water fisherman (or women) we offer sightfishing half or full day fishing charters on our 17' Kenner equipped with a tower, that we call The "GB" to put you on Puppy Drum, Trout, Flounder and Rockfish.
